Excellent modern and wonderful relaxing place, it has very informative staff on the night shift. The food is great, loved English breakfast. The location is magnificent and unbeatable, to St Andrew's Square where a tram to airport can be caught.
The room is a little dated.

Had a really really nice stay for 1 night, everything was nice. The venue was set in the central position near to Holyrood Palace, many bars and clubs, and the Playhouse and Calton Hill. There was The Shezan Indian Cuisine near the hotel.

The location was central, really close to the theatre, Omni Centre, St James's new shopping mall, and there were a theatre and a castle walking distance to the venue. There were plenty of restaurants to eat, like Shazan that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

Make sure you stay in the double room with a suspended ceiling, sofa bed, view out over the chimney stacks. They provide coffee and cheese, that is good. This hotel is ideally located very near St Mary's Catholic Cathedral & tram.

Friendly efficient and amazingly helpful staff, the breakfasts are savoury with sausages under cooked. The location is absolutely perfect, right by railway / bus station, an attic window wonderful view to the coast on one side and up Carlton Hill on the other and the Playhouse and omni-centre - couldn't be better. Great nearby places include The Conan Doyle, we usually had drinks there.
